Based on the 2018 vintage and disgorged in early 2022, the latest rendition of Philipponnat's NV Brut Royale Réserve delivers aromas of crisp pear, stone fruits and fresh bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping palate. Charming and pillowy, it's a giving wine that will show well on release. William Kelley, Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The NV Brut Rosé Royale Réserve is a rich, vinous Champagne. There’s quite a bit of textural resonance and creaminess at play here. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, rose petal and mint are all nicely amplified in this midweight yet generous, inviting Rosé Champagne. The 18% still Pinot comes through in the wine’s breadth. The current release is 73% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Meunier, based on 2018. Dosage is 9 grams per liter. Disgorged: March, 2022. Antonio Galloni, Vinous
