Vinified in 300 and 600 liters, the 2022 Cuvée d'Antan is an aromatically restrained, barrel-fermented Sancerre. The palate gives more flavor than the nose suggests, filling the mid-palate with fresh apricot, lees-derived pastry, some subtle oak spice and a hint of varietal boxwood characters, reminding you that this is Sauvignon Blanc. The 2022 shows impressive concentration, firm and chewy. This is full of density and impressive from start to finish. One for the long haul, as it needs time for all its components to come together.
