In 2023, SKLO partnered with the Sommelier Association of Singapore (SAS) to co-create a wine glass engineered specifically for Asian palates, achieving an exceptional balance of aroma, structure, and flavour clarity within a single elegant form.

Working closely with the artisans of Květná 1794, SKLO and SAS embarked on an intensive development journey involving multiple rounds of mould fabrication, blind tastings and performance evaluations. Each prototype was carefully shipped, assessed and refined until the perfect expression was achieved.

The tulip-shaped bowl and paper-thin rim were the result of meticulous design rather than chance. Every curve was precisely calibrated to enhance the wine’s aromatic expression, optimise palate balance, and extend the length and complexity of the finish. Spanning approximately 30 weeks, the development process culminated in a glass that performs as beautifully as it looks.

In 2025, the SKLO Evolution Series was honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, affirming what Singapore’s sommeliers had long recognised: a wine glass designed for Asian wine culture can stand proudly among the finest in the world.
