Tolpuddle Vineyard has long enjoyed a remarkable reputation among wine lovers. A north-east facing site just 20ha in size located in Coal River of Southern Tasmania, the vines here were planted over 30 years ago in 1988. Their unique terroir yields intensely flavoured grapes, propelling their wines to acclaim as Tasmania's (potentially Australia's) most sought-after release. Now fully mature, these healthy and thriving vines produce exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir year after year, making Tolpuddle a true rising star of Tasmania and one of the finest single vineyards in Australia. Both their Chardonnay & Pinot Noir have been recently named in the latest edition of Langton's Classification (The Premier Guide To Australian Fine Wine) under the "Classified" category.

Following a dry winter, the estate benefited from regular and well-timed rainfall throughout spring and summer. Combined with mild, sunny conditions during the remainder of the ripening season, these favourable weather patterns encouraged strong vine growth, successful flowering, and excellent bunch development. The fruit ripened slowly and evenly, producing moderate yields with impressive flavour concentration and balance. As a result, 2024 stands out as one of the finest vintages the estate has recorded to date.
