The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Fay Vineyard offers a perfumed nose marked by delicate purple raspberry notes and a touch more herbal, tea-like nuances than the 2018. It's medium to full-bodied in the mouth but delicate and elegant, with a long, silky finish. Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker Wine Advocate
This is a fine set of new releases from Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and winemaker Marcus Notaro. I think I might have been more impressed with the 2020s than the 2019s, given how few wines were made from Stag’s Leap in 2020. In addition to these wines, I also tasted the 2021s from barrel. Those wines are shaping up to be gorgeous. I noted better integration of oak – always a sign of balance – vis-à -vis the 2019s, even though the 2021s are two years younger. Antonio Galloni, Vinous
